First post! Here's to a new start, 2014!

I promised myself I would start blogging in 2014, as it is always something I have wanted to do. But look -- we're already halfway through January and I haven’t done a thing! Between work and the cold weather, I just haven’t had the time to figure out how to start! Excuses, excuses! Anyway, I got home from work a bit earlier than expected this evening. Although I wasn’t crazy about my outfit choice for today (y’know, "work clothes", and all), I figured, what the heck, let’s do this thing.

H&M cotton shirt (underneath, similar here), Cynthia Rowley sweater (similar here and here), Levi's jeans, Bandolino "Carmine" boots in cognac, LOFT necklace, Fossil watch.

It was a very simple outfit today. I was feeling lazy and cold (50 degrees in New York right now, and yet... I'm chilled to the bone!), and I thought this was the perfect outfit to throw on to get some work done.

Forgive my awkwardness! I have no clue what I'm doing. :)

It feels really strange to be starting something new... especially something you’ve never ever done before! This brief photo session was a lot of fun, though it only lasted about 3 minutes. What's important is, I've broken the ice! And for that alone, I'm proud.
